YOUTH OF THE MOUNT MINISTRY CALENDAR
OUR MISSION
The Mount Ararat Baptist Church Youth Ministry focuses on studying God’s Word, building faith, and fostering service through meaningful opportunities for youth of all ages.
BOOST SUNDAY SCHOOL (SUNDAYS DURING 10:30AM WORSHIP SERVICE)
Studying God’s Word through Sunday School is the heart of our Youth Ministry. We offer Virtual Sunday School classes for students from first grade through adults. These classes help improve Biblical knowledge and understanding of scripture, empowering you to know God’s Word for yourself. Our BOOST Sunday School Curriculum, published by Lifeway’s Explore the Bible, uses a book-by-book format. Every lesson brings the Bible to life with engaging study tools and interactive Bible objects, providing a strong Biblical foundation.
SUNDAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE
Every Sunday @ 10:30 AM
- Pre-K & Kindergarten: Tribe of Benjamin
- 1st & 2nd Grade: Tribe of Ephraim
- 3rd - 5th Grade: Tribe of Manasseh
- Middle School: Tribe of Judah
- High School: Tribe of Levi
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School will take place for one week (5 days) during the summer. We provide a fun and engaging environment for children to learn about the Bible, develop a foundational understanding of their faith, and build connections with their church community through interactive activities, Bible stories, songs, and crafts. This program often serves as a way for the church to reach out to children in the wider community.
YOUTH PRAISE TEAM
Our Youth Praise Team sings once a month during our main services. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday at 6:30 PM for ages 12-17.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR
The Children’s Choir sings once a month during main services. Rehearsals are every Monday at 6:00 PM for children ages 6-11.
JUNIOR MISSIONARY MINISTRY
Youths ages 13-18 serve during baptisms, and community missions, and participate in the annual Lott Carey Youth Seminar—a week-long mission trip. They also assist with church outreach projects, helping others in need.
JR. USHER BOARD
Youth ages 10-18 serve alongside adult ushers during services. Responsibilities include welcoming members, distributing fans, assisting with offering baskets and maintaining the flow of service. This ministry teaches compassion, service, and attention to detail.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES (ADULTS)
Mount Ararat Youth Ministry is always looking for adult volunteers to aid in the following ways:
Mentoring: Leading and guiding young people in their spiritual development
Planning: Organizing events, outings, and discussions
Teaching: Facilitating Bible studies and religious classes
Building Relationships: Providing support and guidance to young people
Listening: Giving advice and being a listening ear for students
YOUTH MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS ARE VITAL!
Mount Ararat Baptist Church's Youth Ministry aims to create a balance between fun activities and teaching young people about their faith. It helps young people feel a sense of belonging and commitment to the church, encouraging them to participate actively.
FELLOWSHIP & SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
We provide various opportunities for fellowship both inside and outside the church. Our youth learn about the love of Christ, their calling to serve, and how to live in faith—all while having fun in Jesus’ name!
